Our young people are a priority at Petersburg Seventh-day Adventist Church. We welcome our families to come and enjoy growing in knowledge and fellowship with our diverse community!
Our Beginner’s Class covers ages 1-3. We are interested in building the foundations of love and joy for children who are hearing the stories of the bible for the first time. Each week, we encourage collaboration, singing, bible stories, and much, much more!
Our Kindergarten Class is built for ages 4-6. We hope to bring the bible to life for our children through engaging narratives and beautiful illustrations. We hope to build their friendship with Jesus through the teachings we share.
Our Primary Class is designed for ages 7-9. These classes aim to bring joy and hope to our children’s world. We aim to bring vibrancy and color to how each of our children views the stories of the Bible, and to strengthen their growing relationship with Jesus and their families.
Our Juniors class serves ages 10-14. As this age is a major moment of formative experience and growth, we hope to show our early teens that Jesus and the stories of the bible are more than letters on a page; they represent something real and tangible. We want Jesus to find an anchor in their hearts that grows with them.
Our Youth class is intended for ages 15-18. We are aware of the challenges that position themselves to block the view of Jesus at every turn for our teens and early collegiate members. It is important that we continue to build their determination to be disciples of Christ and reject the temptations that can be overwhelming.
